Great Backyard Bird Count.

I have a niece who is 6 and who knows more about birds than most adults I have ever known. She has wanted to be an ornithologist since she first heard the word and well before she could pronounce it.

Well the Audubon Society has a yearly bird count and this year I want to do it with her. It involves 15 minuets or more of counting the birds in your yard on any of 4 days in February and sending the Data in. She'll love it 0 Colin her brother will tolerate it, but he'll deal.

I'll let you know how it goes.
